Program Overview

Demystifying the Background Check - What You Need To Know

This program will provide education to HR professionals on healthcare- specific screening including:  the basics of a background check (who, what, how), common misconceptions and obstacles regarding background checks, handing adverse information, how to optimize the use of your background screening provider.

Speaker: Bruce H. Butler, SPHR, LPI

Bruce has over thirty years of Human Resources and Organizational Development experience. For over twenty-eight years he served in Human Resources Leadership roles in Houston. He is a member of HSHHRA, TSHHRAE, ASHHRA and SHRM. He is a graduate of the University of Houston and Texas Southern University. He earned his SPHR in 1994 and currently holds a lifetime certification. Presently, Bruce serves as President of PreCheck, Inc.; the nations leading provider for credentialing and background screening in the healthcare market.
